After Spain, off we go to Mediterranean Europe. This is mostly the southern part of Europe where the historic countries of Croatia, Cyprus, Crete, Corsica Corfu and Malta are located. Let’s try to visit each one and see why I want to travel in this beautiful part of Europe.

Blue Grotto CaveTo the south of Sicily, Italy, we go to Malta. Personally, I would love to go by boat. After stopping by in any of the Malta Hotels, the destination that would be first on my list would be the deep blue waters of Blue Grotto. The series of caves and inlets is really a turn on for me.

Then we go to Cyprus, the 3rd largest island in the Mediterranean. As there are countless Cyprus Hotels and even apartments with varying degree of luxury, it would be a problem staying in one. What attracted me to visit Cyprus — is it’s many archaeological and antiquities sites.

Crete would probably be the next destination as this is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Greece mainly it might be that Crete is a location of significant ancient history. I’m going to leave my heavy luggage in one of the Crete Hotels and I’m off to see these ancient historical artifacts and places. I would particularly love to see any art or anything of relation to the legendary King Minos.

Then, we go west of Italy, to the island of Corsica. The birthplace of none other than — Napoléon Bonaparte. The best time to go here would be in the summer. As many of the visitors do, in the summer, most of the activities will center in the beaches. Don’t stay in many of the Corsica Hotels when the sun goes down, there are many gelatto and beachside restaurants. That’s usually when the real fun begins.

Last but definitely not the least would be Corfu. Any of the Corfu Hotels or even apartments will do for me, as long as I can go to the Achilleion. This beautiful structure, as its theme is pointed to that of platonic romantism and escapism and named after Achilles, abounds with paintings and statues of Achilles. I would love to just stay here and be amazed of its illustrious grandeur.

What is the first thing that comes into your mind when you hear the word — Nightlife?! Probably, clubbing, dancing, drinking, and most importantly, having fun. Let’s try to add another ingredient — Nightlife at Madrid and Barcelona. How do you think will this go?

Well, for starters, from your Barcelona Hoteles, off we go to the Catwalk. One of the most visited nightclub in Barcelona. If you want a combination of a little beach and clubbing, we can go to Shoko.

Off La Ramblas, the perfect spot would be at El Bosc de la Fades. This is a wax-museum bar. Sounds very unique, don’t you think? No worries, La Ramblas Hoteles will be able to accomodate all with superb service.

If you don’t know Las Ramblas, it’s probably the busiest pedestrian walkway in all Spain and Barcelona. Being the tourist that we would be there, staying at a Ramblas Hoteles, one must expect the not-so-normal-and-quite-high prices.

I think everybody knows Madrid — being the capital of Spain, who wouldn’t? What most might not know is how nightlife is at Madrid. Well, it has probably the largest number of bars in all Europe. And people there are known to stay up until 6am to 8am. Madrid Hoteles will be able to accomodate anyone, that’s for sure, but if you happen to be in the Gran Via area soon, it would turn out to be a nightmare if you are a light sleeper.

I woke up today with a splitting headache. I wonder why — well — maybe this was because I drank a little more beer than my alcohol level can handle? It was a hangover. Nevertheless, I still got up because I needed to somewhere else and I was almost late.

My appointment finished faster than I anticipated, thus, I decided to go to the mall. I ate lunch and took pain reliever meds just to help with the excruciating headache. I needed to relax that’s why I also decided to watch a movie. Since the movie would start a little later, I still had time to look around.

Well, I ended salivating on the new models of LCD TV. The Sony Flat Panel in particular is worth salivating about. Who wouldn’t drool — 70 inches? wide screen? Hello!

Since I’m on a tight budget, flat screens would be cool too. And since I was in a Sony Shop, looking at a Sony Flat Screen makes you what to just pull your wallet in an instant. I personally think that any SonyTV would be a great to have. I personally experience how tough and durable they are. I still have one at my house which is already over 10 years old.

Anyway, time just passed by and already I needed to go to the movie house. I needed to relax too anyway. After the movie, thankfully, the headache vanished.

That’s basically, how I spent my day today.

I think it’s a bit late — but — I’m still going to greet everybody — a belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

The holidays I celebrated with my parents and relatives — and — most importantly, I celebrated it with my wife and my baby boy — it’s hist first Christmas and New Year celebration.

You know what I love about the holidays — the food — and my favorite — grilled food. I just love the smell of grilled meat especially if its prepared on a natural gas grill. Grilling with coal is great too but I just sometimes hate it when smoke gets in my eye.

I did not only prepare meat to grill — it just wouldn’t be enough. The smell and tast of grilled squid is just too tempting and sumcious not to prepare.

And last but certainly not the least, natural gas grilled milk fish. For a moment there, I think I just drolled. Deliciouso!

The holidays is basically a valid reason why one can gain a lot of pounds. I think nobody can help it — I know I can’t.

At long last — finally — another Japan adventure.
